Image for Brisbane's Rave magazine shuts down

After 21 years and nearly 1050 issues, Brisbane’s street press magazine Rave – which covered both rock and dance – has ceased publication. According to the publishers, up to 15,000 copies of the magazine were picked up and read each week by 45,000+ punters in the Brisbane area. Rave is the Queensland member of the National Street Press organisation which also includes Sydney’s The Brag, Melbourne’s Beat, Adelaide’s dB, and Perth’s X-Press.
