Foreshore sets the date for 2012

Last year, Foreshore solidified its reputation as the biggest day on the Canberra calendar with one of the festival’s most impressive line-ups yet. Armin van Buuren made his debut appearance in the capital, backed up by Avicii fresh off the back of a little tune called Levels, local sensation Gotye and big-name internationals like Afrojack and LMFAO.

Now, Foreshore has set Saturday, November 24 as the date for its sixth straight year. As for the big lineup reveal? We can expect that on Thursday July 5, the same day the Stereosonic lineup lands. There’s every reason to expect another another killer assembly of acts for 2012: with Tiesto already confirmed for Stereosonic, there’s a pretty decent chance we could be seeing Tijs in town to headline Foreshore too. But to be sure, head back here Thursday morning for the official word.
