Ferry Corsten’s Full On Australia tour announced

Back in 2010, right before he his trip to Australia for Creamfields, Dutch maestro Ferry Corsten hinted to inthemix that he was keen to bring his ultimate headline show, Full On Ferry, down under. “We’ve been really thinking about it,” he enthused. “It has been stirring up quite some dust and have a lot of people interested, so never say never. It would be very cool!” Well, now that “very cool” possibility has become a reality, with the announcement of Full On Australia, hosted by Ferry Corsten. He’ll be bringing some special guests with him to Australia too, namely Swedish gun Zoo Brazil and U.S. trance sensation Shogun. Huge!

The much-awaited tour is presented by Totem Onelove, Hardware and Kabuki, the teams that last brought the man to our shores for Stereosonic 2011. Corsten released his fourth studio album WKND in February, and his tour schedule has been non-stop ever since. The Full On Ferry juggernaut is going large across the Northern summer. Corsten has taken up residence at Eden in Ibiza with a fleet of special guests playing under the Full On Ferry banner, including Judge Jules, Giuseppe Ottaviani and Aly & Fila. “Ferry invites his guest artists regardless of their style and genre to celebrate dance music,” the manifesto reads. “It started as an annual event in Ahoy Rotterdam, and is now becoming a worldwide phenomenon. Full on Ferry has had its first annual residency in Ibiza, celebrated the New Year in London and is now looking to launch in numerous cities around the world.” Tickets go on sale Friday July 27 2012.

Friday September 21 – Palace Theatre, Melbourne (Full On show)
Saturday September 22 – The Hi Fi, Sydney (Full On show)
Friday September 28 – Family Nightclub, Brisbane (Full On show)
Saturday September 29 – Fresh presents Ferry Corsten, Hobart (WKND show)
Sunday September 30 – Ferry Corsten & Shogun at Villa, Perth (WKND show)
Monday October 1 – HQ Complex, Adelaide (Full On show)

At HiFi? Those organizers majorly f*&$ed up with that venue at Creamfields this year already. Do they not learn at least?

Hordern would be good, but I went to the last one at the Hordern and it was only just over half filled. Still a good crowd and night though!

Trance at the Hi-Fi - WTF???
I will not be going to this, based on the venue.
When i go to Trance events I like to have a lot of room.
Hi Fi is a great venue, but not for Ferry Corsten.
Sort your shit out cunts

Does anyone know where tickets are going to be on sale for the melb show tomorrow?

Seamus Ryan

Seamus Ryan said on the 26th Jul, 2012

I wonder if there is potential for it to be moved to the Hordern if ticket sales are good?

Perhaps they are planning for something big, but are playing it safe so as not to blow the $$$?

Ive never been to HiFi, where is it? Is it the old forum or something?

oakenfold and ferry should just do it together... but they DONT because they make more money doing 2 seperate shows... coming to australia really must be such a burden... better make some good cash if we come here!
