After celebrating their 1st birthday in July with a dubstep bonanza featuring heavyweights Skream, Joker, Sgt Pokes, and Plastician, Perth-based touring company Big Ape has just announced its next tour in partnership with UK label Circus Records, and it’s a killer.

Circus Records is the brainchild of Doctor P, Flux Pavilion, DJ Swan-E and Earl Falconer (of UB40 fame). Started in 2009 as a platform for Flux and Doctor P’s dubstep productions, the label has grown quickly to become synonymous with top quality bass-driven music. Their mission is to throw away the conventions of the narrow-minded music industry and do things the way they think things should be done. The Circus Showcase is bringing four of their top artists around Australia in September for an unforgettable tour of boundary-pushing dubstep.

Joining record label boss Doctor P on this showcase are grime guru Cookie Monsta, the controversial and filthy FuntCase, and ‘slum n bass’ pioneers Slumdogz. You’d be mad to miss this one.

You can check out how it all went down when Big Ape brought Skream, Joker, and Plastician to Sydney in the gallery below.
