Danny Tenaglia set for Sensation NYC?

You might have heard the news that long-running, Dutch-born event Sensation is headed to the US for the first time in 2012. After a good decade of life in its native Netherlands, hosting events throughout Europe from 2005 and even heading to Melbourne for NYE in 2008, ID&T’s colossal event is expanding the all-white empire into Asia and the USA this year. For the newly EDM-obsessed punters in the States, the big event will take place over two successive nights on October 26 and 27 in Brooklyn, NY.
You might also remember the big moment in April this year when Danny Tenaglia announced he was resigning ( not retiring) from DJing. So it’s somewhat unexpected news, then, that Tenaglia is reportedly part of the Sensation New York lineup. According to Dancing Astronaut, Danny Tenaglia’s website had listed him as set to play one night of the Brooklyn event, though the event listing seems to have now been pulled from the site. Previously, only Fedde Le Grand had been leaked as part of the bill, which is yet to be officially revealed.
However, Sensation wouldn’t make the first time Danny’s got behind the decks since calling it quits. Earlier this month, word came that Tenaglia was pairing up with John Digweed for a one-off NYC event. So while he might be well and truly over any engagement that requires a long-haul flight, it seems the New York-based legend is still keeping busy around the US. Still, we can’t quite picture Danny Tenaglia adhering to Sensation’s “be part of the night, dress in white” dress code – that seems much more Armin’s bag.
