Goodgod Birthday Nights lineup announced

Arguably Sydney’s coolest party venue and home of The Dip’s mouthwatering Lev Dawgs, Goodgod Small Club is about to celebrate its second birthday. Of course, a birthday means a party and to celebrate 24 great months in what can be a fickle city club scene, Goodgod is planning a jam-packed two night mini-festival. On the Queen’s Birthday long weekend (that’s September 29 and 30), the toast of Liverpool St is throwing the second edition of Goodgod Birthday Nights and they’ve got no less than 25 bands and DJs along for the ride.

Among the lineup are minimal art rock masters My Disco, Canberra tropical punk maddoggs The Fighting League, Sydney’s Slow Blow and brain-melting four-piece The Laurels. Goodgod’s first Birthday Nights bash welcomed over 2000 through the doors and went on to win Best Music Event in FBi’s Sydney Music Arts Culture Awards, so they’ve set the bar pretty high. And I’m not sure, but I think The Dip is open and serving deep fried cola all night long. Sick as.
