Maceo Plex replaced by Jamie Jones on November tour

Finely Tuned Entertainment have announced a line-up change in their infamous Circoloco Halloween event, due to unforseen circumstances. American-born, Spain-based Maceo Plex certainly draws the crowds, but due to personal reasons, has had to cancel his Australian tour in November. In what may be considered a double blow for ticket-holders, Matthias Tanzmann’s appearance has also been pushed back to later in the summer.
However, the silver lining in this announcement is that Maceo Plex will be replaced by Crosstown Rebels labelmate Jamie Jones as headliner for the Circoloco party. Well known for his long term stays at Ibiza and renowned as one of London’s most in-demand DJs right now, Jamie Jones’ set at Future Music Festival earlier in the year left Australian crowds begging for more. Finely Tuned are confident that he is a more than worthy replacement for Maceo Plex.
In place of Matthias Tanzmann will be France’s prince of everything deep, dark and sexy, DJ W!LD. Long serving in the French underground house scene, the hype surrounding DJ W!LD is undeniable and as evidenced by his summer in DC10, Ibiza, he has the goods to deliver. But all’s not lost for Maceo Plex diehards – the producer has assured he’ll be rescheduling the visit. “To my Oz friends,” Maceo’s personal message began. “Due to personal commitments I’m sad to have to postpone my Australian dates this November. I apologize in advance for any disappointment this may cause, and we are working hard to secure a new run of dates to be announced soon.”
While there has been no official announcement for fans seeking refunds, Finely Tuned have posted their email on the Facebook event page for any complaints, queries or requests for refunds.
