Defqon.1 2012 has sold out

Defqon.1 takes over Sydney’s Regatta Centre tomorrow for the fourth year running and with Q-dance’s hard dance triumph boasting huge names like Headhunterz, Wildstylez and Zany on the bill, no less than seven stages and one of the most up-for-it festival crowds there is, it’s set to be a huge day. But it’s bad news if you hadn’t yet bought your ticket, as Q-dance have just announced that the festival’s 2012 edition has completely sold out.

However, this news may come as something of a consolation if you missed out on a Defqon ticket. Q-dance have announced that they’re launching a new outdoor event in Australia, scheduled for April 2013. Q-dance are keeping most of the details about the new event under wraps, but they have promised that “the new concept will take inspiration from some of its finest open-air spectacles, from across Holland and the rest of the world.” With the epic reputation Defqon.1 has very rightly earned, we’re sure the mysterious new event will be a winner.
