Infusion & many more for Cause/Effect charity event

On Saturday 15 December, the Greenwood Hotel is set to host an illustrious roll-call of homegrown talent, all coming together for a good cause. 100-percent of proceeds from Cause/Effect will go towards MS Australia, with all artists donating their time. The line-up is headed by celebrated three-piece Infusion in live mode, who promise “new beats, bass and bounce for your dancing pleasure, all for a brilliant cause”.

After Infusion, the DJ line-up runs deep, including Infusion’s Jamie Stevens, Robbie Lowe, Simon Caldwell, Ben Korbel, Ken Cloud, Illya, Daniel Crocetti and many more. You can get your ticket from Moshtix, as it’s presale only and no door sales.

Infusion fans will no doubt be itching for some new music from the boys. Back in 2010, we spoke to Jamie Stevens about the early days of the group. “There was quite an effort to make music that would cave people’s heads [then],” he told us. “Andy Page had a big part to play in that too. Fusing that trippy sound manipulation that no one else was really doing (maybe apart from BT, but that’s another story) with the atmospherics of progressive, and a really dirty, heaviness was really, really fresh. In retrospect, I think it stood out from the pack.”
