Stereosonic Sydney and Melbourne almost sold out

With a blockbuster line-up on board, Stereosonic is gearing up for its biggest summer yet. A roll-call of A-listers, fresh faces and scene legends will hit Perth, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane across two weekends, with a host of stages covering techno, trance, dubstep, electro, house and more. Now, with the countdown on until the festival kicks off, there’s an important update: “Totem Onelove Group would like to inform patrons wishing to attend Stereosonic Sydney and Melbourne that if you have not got your tickets yet, now is the time to do so as there is less than 10% left of sales in each city! Epic-ness!” In other words, if you haven’t committed yet, it’s time to hurry along.

Need a refresher on why 2012’s such a big seller? After claiming the #2 and #3 spots respectively in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll, Tiesto and Avicii will be leading the mainstage, no doubt accompanied by flame-throwers, pyrotechnics and LEDs working overtime. In 2011, Avicii pulled immense crowds to the Stereosonic mainstage, and since then his profile has accelerated to new heights. The arena-filling quota is all tied up by Calvin Harris, Chuckie, Laidback Luke, Example and Martin Solveig, while elsewhere there’s a host of new attractions.

Destructo leads the HARD Arena with Gallic dream team Gesaffelstein and Brodinski, Mr Oizo, Zedd, Dillon Francis and more. The mighty Carl Cox is also back on the bill, with his own arena now under the banner of ‘The Revolution Continues’. With dedicated areas for trance and all things bass-heavy, it’s another monster Stereosonic line-up. Don’t dawdle if you want in.
