Relive Above & Beyond's final Trance Around The World show

Above & Beyond wrapped up eight years of Trance Around the World last week, celebrating their 450th weekly podcast in serious style with a mammoth six-hour broadcast live from Bangalore, India. But if you missed the big send-off as it happened, good news: thanks to the power of Soundcloud you can listen to (and download!) the whole thing.
Included in TATW 450 were hour long sets from Andrew Bayer, Norin & Rad, Jody Wisternoff and Mat Zo, during which he premiered he and Porter Robinson’s new collaborative track Easy. Then, of course, there was a good couple of hours from the A&B trio themselves – tune into it all segments of the final show below.
But the end of TATW doesn’t mean the end of Above & Beyond getting their radio on. Instead, the decision to retire Trance Around the World is to make way for their new show, Group Therapy Radio. It’s pretty much the same deal as TATW: a weekly radio slot from 7pm to 9pm BST “featuring two hours of the finest trance and progressive, providing a snapshot of Above & Beyond, Anjunabeats and the electronic scene at large today”. The point of difference being the use of the word trance. “Some people complain about the name of our radio show, Trance Around The World, because apparently we’re not playing trance anymore,” the group’s Jono Grant said earlier this year. “But ultimately you just play whatever you believe in at the time and that changes from day to day.” Group Therapy kicks off this week on Friday November 16, in the meanwhile relive the last ever TATW right here.
