Stereosonic rolls into town this Saturday, kicking off a manic five-date tour over two weekends. With huge names Tiesto, Avicii and Calvin Harris up alongside genre heroes like Bassnectar, Dash Berlin and Brodinski, Stereo’s 2012 edition is packing some serious punch. So to help you make your plan for the day, the crew at Stereosonic have released an official app.
The Stereo app comes loaded with important event info like how to get there, the lowdown on the lineups and site maps. Most vitally, there’s a set times planner so you can easily sort out where you want to be and when and get push notifications when one of your picks is about to take the stage, so you never have to miss a set. Best of all, it’s free to download – just head to the iTunes store to grab it.
So how’s the stage set up looking? Naturally, the headliners are stationed on the mainstage, joined by the likes of Example, Laidback Luke and Martin Solveig. There’s high-energy sets from Major Lazer and Porter Robinson on the Sonic Stage, or you could station yourself at Carl Cox’s ‘The Revolution Continues’ arena, where he’s joined by Loco Dice, Adam Beyer and more. Bassnectar and Flux Pavilion are heading up the bass stage, while Markus Schulz and Aly & Fila are doing it for the trance fans. Then there’s the Paris Social Club curated stage and a very-alluring Hard Arena presented by L.A. gun Destructo. So no matter what city you’re in, Stereo is looking like a massive day.
