Bloody Beetroots announce BDO sideshow changes

The Bloody Beetroots have announced a series of changes to their January Big Day Out sideshows. The Beetroots have had to cancel their dates in Brisbane and Melbourne and change both the date and venue of their Sydney show. While the Sydney sideshow was originally scheduled for Saturday January 19 at the Enmore Theatre, due to logistical issues it will now take place on Monday January 21 at the Metro.
A full refund for Brisbane and Melbourne ticket holders will be available from your point of purchase, while tickets for the Enmore show will be valid at the Metro. However, if you’re unable to make the new date a refund will also be available. But the remaining show promises to be a big one: as well as offering Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo’s vision for a “versatile, compact, furious and dance-inducing” live show and a stack of new material from the Beetroots’ forthcoming album, the sideshow also boasts support from Peking Duk. The fast-rising Canberra duo’s new single The Way You Are has been getting thrashed on triple j lately and with a reputation for a sweaty live show, they’re sure to set the mood for Rifo’s arrival on stage.
The Bloody Beetroots are coming to Australia as part of the Big Day Out tour, headlining an impressive 2013 Boiler Room contingent that also includes Kaskade, Crystal Castles. Pretty Lights, Nicky Romero and Adventure Club. Check out the full lineup over here.
