As 2012 proved, dance music is big business in Las Vegas, and Sin City’s clubs are looking ahead to another lucrative year. If you’re planning a trip in 2013, you might find yourself at one of Wynn Casino’s clubs: Encore Beach Club, Surrender, Tryst and XS. Wynn has just announced a list of over 40 residents – or ‘exclusive partnerships’ – with the ones you’d expect (Avicii, Afrojack, David Guetta, Skrillex) and some you may not.

After reacquainting himself with the U.S. market on the ‘EDM road-show’ Identity Festival last year, Swedish titan Eric Prydz is locked in to a residency. Stars-of-the-moment like Porter Robinson, Madeon, Dillon Francis and Zeds Dead are also on the roster – then just to remind you this is Vegas, will.i.am, Red Foo and Lil Jon too. A perhaps surprising addition to the roster is Desolat co-founder Loco Dice, who’ll now be bringing his rolling tech-house to Vegas on the regular. Wynn’s major 2012 drawcards Tiesto and Deadmau5, however, aren’t on this list – yet. (In a Rolling Stone cover feature on Deadmau5 last year, Wynn hinted that the producer’s Vegas fee was “more than Sinatra at his peak”.)

“Our team has worked day and night to present an unrivalled roster of residencies again in 2013 including both major headliners and the DJs we believe to be the next superstars of this genre,” writes XS’s Managing Partner Jesse Waits in a press release. In June 2012, inthemix took a trip to Las Vegas while Electric Daisy Carnival was in town – read on for what we crammed into 100 hours.
