The Stafford Brothers announce ‘Aussie Invasion’ tour of North America

Two brothers, a Party Kangaroo, a swag full of banging tunes and a party every single night – it could only be Matt and Chris Stafford. The brothers have had a cracking year so far, being voted the number one DJs in Australia for the third time in the inthemix poll, taking advantage of being the first EDM artists signed to Cash Money Records by recording tunes with hip hop royalty Lil Wayne and Lil Jon, and they’re spending half their time living it up in LA. Now they’re topping off a stellar eight months with a sixteen date tour across North America this September and October, which they’ve dubbed the ‘Aussie Invasion’.
They’ll start out in Pennsylvania in early September, taking in dates in Canada, Mexico, New York, LA and Houston before winding up in New Jersey in late October, just in time to fly home for the national Stereosonic tour. They’re also taking some local friends along for the tour; Hook N Sling and Feenixpawl will join the Stafford Brothers for select dates. It’s been a great year for Australians taking over the US EDM scene – Melbourne Sound exponent Will Sparks, who made his debut in this year’s inthemix Top 50 poll with an astounding second place behind the Stafford Brothers, is also on tour in the States at the moment, hitting Pacha in New York and XS in Las Vegas, along with 23 other dates.
If you can’t afford to fly over and join the Staffords on tour, you can still stay abreast of their antics: watch the brothers hang out in Miami, do shots with Cash Money Records’ Birdman, and see Party Kangaroo get arrested by the Mexican police in the latest episode of their video tour diary below.
