Looking to start your New Year in style? Fuzzy’s long-running NYD day bash Field Day is one very good way to do just that. After giving us a few hints at who to expect in last week’s teaser video, today Field Day has unveiled its 2014 line-up.

Sydney’s in for a treat, with a diverse cast of names set for The Domain on January 1. Leading the charge is hip-hop royalty Wiz Khalifa and A$AP Rocky, who’re doing a New Year’s spin of the country with stops at Perth’s Origin NYE and the newly-announced Beachlife also locked in. Future Classic wunderkind Flume will be there too, as will hipster songstress and sister-to-Beyonce Solange, with Julio Bashmore, Dusky, Shadow Child and Jacques Greene all set to get behind the decks. Bass fans will be treated to both Flux Pavilion and Kill the Noise and locally, Hermitude, Alison Wonderland, Flight Facilities and more will all be there. Take in the full thing below.

Tickets to Field Day’s 2014 edition will set you back $118 (earlybird GA) and are on sale now. “Why bother with an underwhelming NYE when you can guarantee an overwhelming musical feast on New Year’s Day?,” inthemix’s 2013 reviewer appraised. “Yep, it’s Field Day: The biggest way to begin the year. The sun was out in force, the clothes were minimal, and the punters’ attitudes were hell bent on a great day. It was an absolutely gigantic day that seemed to pass in the blink of an eye.. epic, exhausting and euphoric, Field Day proves it’s better to go as hard as you can on the first day of the year.”

I must be getting old, I only know 2 acts out of this list :-(

Or is it too much substance abuse over the years :-)

Not that I have been to Field Day in years but is that a good lineup that people are gonna faff over? The only act I really like is Dusky...

What has happened to Field Day? This is the most woeful line-up so far. Only two DJs so far?!
