Created On September 15th, 2004 by i_have_ADD

Upcoming guests confirmed for inthemix’s weekly radio show on FBi 94.5 FM include Greg Packer, Funk D’Void, Alan Thompson, and Nick Thayer. Broadcasting across Sydney every Saturday night between 8 and 10pm, ‘inthemix on FBi’ features a live uninterrupted 1-hour mix from guest DJs each week, as well as all the latest tracks and dance music news.

Saturday March 27: Nick Thayer (Mel)

A stalwart of the Melbourne club scene, Nick Thayer finds himself booked to play all the biggest breakbeat parties south of the border. As well as DJing, Thayer also produces his own tracks, with his debut single ‘Theme One’ about to be released on local record label Breaking Point (the breakbeat arm of Floating Point Music).

Saturday April 3: Alan Thompson (UK)

Over the years Alan Thompson has held down residencies at many of the UK’s biggest clubs, including Fabric, The End, Ministry of Sound, Trade, and Defected. In the country for an extended visit, tune in to get a taste of Thompson’s style before he rocks Lookin’ Good! at Candy’s Apartment the same night.

Saturday April 10: Funk D’Void (UK)

Having just released his new album, ‘Volume Freak’, Funk D’Void (aka Lars Sandberg) will be playing Sydney on the Easter long weekend with fellow tech-stalwart Dave Clarke. One thing Lars is definitely not devoid of is a sense of humour, he was considering opening a stripclub called ‘Flaps in your Lap’, so be sure to tune in during the interview!

Saturday April 17: Greg Packer (WA)

Not only the biggest name in Western Australia’s drum & bass scene, Greg Packer is without a doubt one of the leading lights on the DnB scene globally. Having recently established his own record label, Interphase, Packer will be in town to DJ with fellow WA act Pendulum at Moving Through Air.

Stay tuned to ITM for further updates as guests are confirmed for the remaining weeks in April.
