Adelaide’s number 1 night of progressive house and breaks shifts into overdrive over the May/June period with not one, but two massive events coming your way. First up is Chris Meehan, the latest addition to Melbourne’s progressive mafia along with Kasey Taylor, Sean Quinn, Luke Chable, et al. As co-director of Vapour Recordings he has taken the world by storm this year with a number of quality productions, with his dj sets leaving dancefloors around the world begging for more. Chris steps up to the Fabric decks Friday May 28th. Entry is $8 and $5 for members or with registration.

Keeping with the theme of guys named ‘Chris,’ Thursday June 3rd, we welcome America’s #1 progressive house dj, Chris Fortier. With an acclaimed compilation on John Digweed’s Bedrock label already under his belt, he returns for his second Australasian tour to launch his next landmark CD, Audiotour. Head honcho of the unstoppable Fade Records, he is responsible for the remix of the Delerium track Silence that reached number 1 in four countries around the world, including Australia. This will be a very special experience we combine one of the world’s leading djs and Fabric’s unique and intimate vibe. Entry is only $12/$10 for this one, and with only 200 tickets available on the door you’ll need to get in early to avoid missing out.

They will be supported by residents, including a number of winners from the recent SA Dance Music Awards, Mal Chia (Best Progressive), Lachy Pender (Best Up n Coming), Brendon (Hall-of-fame), Andee and Phil T. Both nights will be held at Fabric’s new home at Garage, 163 Waymouth St., Light Square, from 10pm till late.
