ITM has just been given the lowdown from Feel & Triple J Soundlab that Kieran Hebden aka Four Tet and Dan Snaith aka Manitoba are very much looking forward to their June visit to Australia (FOUR TET’s first).
Both Four Tet (pictured) and Manitoba have had busy tour schedules this year so far, having appeared on stages from the furthest reaches of northern Canada to Turkey and more.
Four Tet recently curated the hugely successful Eat Your Own Ears and Four Tet Presents show at the Coronet in London, with performances from (himself) Papa M, Fennesz, Manitoba, Explosions in the Sky, Animal Collective, Icarus, Dabrye, Matthew Dear, Warp Djs and many more.
Manitoba has been wowing audiences around the world with his sensory massage, Hush-hush vocals juxtaposed with encapturing electro-grooves make for saturating, satisfying songs. The three members that make up the live band (Manitoba is actually just Canadian, Dan Snaith) flit between drums, synths, guitars and even recorders.
