It seems the only thing we can guarantee in life is change. Every birthday in clubland is a milestone with many failing to even reach a first birthday. That is why it is an achievement that Fabric, even with all the ups and downs that are part and parcel of this industry, has reached the ripe old age of 3.

From The Loft Nightclub in 2001 to Skylab, top floor of Minke, for the better part of 2002 and 2003, along with many other venues and events, Fabric has unwaveringly flown the progressive and breaks flag in Adelaide, making this a must-play destination for many of the world’s leading djs and producers. Dave Seaman, Chris Fortier, James Zabiela, Steve Gerrard and Gwill Morris are just some of the names that have graced the Fabric decks, with James Holden famously remarking, “This is how clubbing should be.” From around Australia, names such as Infusion, Kasey Taylor, Sean Quinn, Luke Chable and Nubreed are regular visitors and firm fan favourites. As for local talent, Fabric boasts one of the most awarded local line-ups, as well as constantly striving to unearth and expose new talent wherever they can find it. Since moving into Garage earlier this year, Fabric has continued to deliver the goods with their capacity monthly nights bringing together a diverse range of clubbers with the common goal of havin’ it large!

Championing the mantra of the three D’s, ‘Deep, Dirty and Debaucherous’ they have successfully carved out their niche in Adelaide’s clubbing culture, and now celebrate what will be a very massive third birthday bringing together the past, present and future of progressive and breaks in Adelaide as the Fabric All*Stars, Mal Chia, Brendon, Phil T, Lachy Pender and S. Wicks, are assembled for the first time ever to provide the soundtrack to the festivities.

Check it out Friday July 23 at Garage. Entry is $8 or register at the Fabric Adelaide website for discount entry.
