Saturday August 14th: Andy Norman (UK) & Jack McCord [Hed Kandi Special]
Hed Kandi UK resident Andy Norman will be live in the studio with Hed Kandi’s man-in-Sydney Jack McCord for a chat and 1 hour back-to-back mix set. In the country to support the release of the latest Hed Kandi World Series mix album, tune in if fun and funked up house is your cup of tea.
Saturday August 21st: Cut Copy – DJ Set (Mel)
Melbourne electro-pop outfit Cut Copy recently released their eagerly anticipated debut album, ‘Bright Like Neon Love’. Current touring the country, playing Sydney on 14/8, Cut Copy’s Dan Whitford will be in the FBi studio for a chat before playing an exclusive Cut Copy DJ mix.
Saturday August 28th: DJ Godfather (USA)
Regarded as one of the originators of the Detroit ‘ghetto-tech’ or ‘booty’ sound, DJ Godfather’s expert mastery of the turntables is something that has to be heard to be believed. Scratching and cutting like a hip-hop turntablist, Godfather definitely has the skills to pay the bills!
Saturday September 11th: Matthew Dekay (Ned)
Fast becoming one of the progressive scene’s most dependable producers/DJs, Matthew Dekay has had his music punted by the likes of Pete Tong, John Digweed, Steve Lawler and Deep Dish. Touring Australia for the first time, Dekay plays Sweetchilli on 11/9, tune in for a taste of Dekay’s unique progressive style.
