Freestyle Entertainment returns with another night of underground techno sounds at Black Cat on Gouger Street. This time featuring Swedish techno legends Adam Beyer and Joel Mull, each known for their DJ work, quality dance floor productions and respective labels, Adam with Drumcode, Code Red and Truesoul, and Joel with Inside Records. In addition they have both been released on the world’s biggest techno labels including Primevil, Primate, Zync, CLR, Superstition and Intec. Each international is performing on 3 turntables plus CD players in a night dedicated to pushing the party techno sound.

Local legend Jorge Watts is launching the new WetMusik ‘Down Underground’ EP on the night – he has 2 tracks on the 4 track EP under his LoopKillaz alias, which is Jorge producing with Chicago’s DJ Smash. WetMusik have been at the forefront of the techno scene since the labels launch in 1999 and this 20th vinyl release for them features Adelaide’s most distinguished techno player! Jorge has produced tracks under a range of aliases including AztecKid, Tokyo3, Cycloid and LoopKillaz, on labels including Undefined, GlobalTrax, SubSounds, ThrillSeekers, and his own Liquid House Division.

The night is dedicated to the full spectrum of underground techno and house sounds, starting with the funky tech-house of Lachy Pender, Paul Glenn and Fenetik Live, moving to the pumping party techno of Jorge Watts, Joel Mull, Adam Beyer, L8’s and Devious, and winding up with the slamming UK techno and hard trance of Quantum, Submission and Odyssey.
