After organising the largest club event seen in Brisbane this year (The Crystal Method & DJ TeeBee), Ten Pound Crew continue their tradition of providing quality acts at quality prices and are proud to announce their forthcoming events for October. This consists of local shows for Brisbane & Byron Bay , focusing on Australian Talent. Ten Pound Crew will present 3 separate shows with 2 of Australia’s largest exports!  

The first show is the Ministry of Sound CD launch for the forthcoming Clubbers Guide to Breaks 04. After coming back from a recent tour of Europe , Australia’s largest DJ export  Kid Kenobi & MC Shureshock will be performing alongside Triple J’s recent hit Bass Kleph (live). This event is on the  2nd of October at the Milkbar (with other artists such as Shredlock, Vinyl Slingers (live), Aniki , Tom Thumb and more providing support). As part of Ten Pound Crew’s commitment to upcoming talent, they will also be running a competition for DJs to submit their demo to play alongside Kid Kenobi on the night. The next shows will be Infusion (live) doing a national tour for their forthcoming album Six Feet Above Yesterday with support from UK breakbeat gurus Evil 9 (signed to Adam Freeland’s Marine Parade label). This double bill will feature supports from the likes of Rasp Vs Aniki , Cosmo Cater Vs Ian Nearhos, Slinky and Pip . The date for this fantastic show will be October the 6th at The Great Northern, Byron Bay and then the 8th of October at The Rev in Brisbane .
