K-Oscillate to feature at the return of Elements... Elements:2!

After pulling over 300 people through the doors for the first Elements party in September, Elements returns to The Rev for its second instalment of live electronic madness on Saturday, December 18.

Elements:2 will be headlined by Melbourne’s 100% live drum ‘n’ bass sensations K-Oscillate, who’ll be making their debut Brisbane performance after 12 months of blowing crowds away down south. Featuring former 28 Days drummer Matt Bray on live kit and vocals, alongside Fred-Ex (sampler/FX), Daniel Nixon (synths), Tim Pryde (bass) and MC Hugo Tremayne, K-Oscillate will be playing an exclusive Brisbane show at Elements to launch their debut EP “Life Cycle”. Currently holding down monthly residencies at Melbourne institutions Revolver Upstairs and the Evelyn Hotel, and with an upcoming slot at Adelaide’s prestigious FUSE Festival showcase in December, K-O are set to explode on the national scene in a massive way.

Also appearing at live at Elements:2 are D-Ko (currently putting the finishing touches on their second release) and Sanyasa (in one of their last Brisbane performances before re-locating to Japan). DJ support comes from Erther, Rasp, Scott Walker &
Mox vs Kris-Ko (drums), with visuals from Enchanted Forest & Simulcast.

Some information about the artists performng at Elements 2:

K-Oscillate (live/Melbourne) – K-O have consistently been blowing Melbourne audiences away over the past 12 months with a live show described as a “munching, blasting beast”. Their debut Brisbane show will be a 90 minute journey through futuristic drum’n’bass, dubby soundscapes, and 100% live musical intensity. More info – ko.illuminartists.com

D-Ko (live) – Fast becoming a Brisbane favourite with their energetic live shows, D-Ko will be warming up the dancefloor early with a set of deep, tribal house and just a pinch of dirty breaks. More info – www.d-ko.com.
Sanyasa (live) – The twisted doctors of bass will unleash another set of the sub-shaking progressive breaks and drum n bass which saw them rock Elements:1.

Erther – Brisbane’s Don of d’n’b and Rude Bwoyz resident will be upping the tempo in preparation for the live madness of K-Oscillate.

Rasp – The Vinyl Slingers’ head honcho will be delivering a set of the trademark sets of upfront breaks which have seen him rock dancefloors along the east coast of Australia.

Scott Walker – Be prepared for one of Brisbane’s most versatile DJs to drop a cocktail of house and breaks and everything in between.

Mox – Opening the night with a chunky set of melodic breaks, backed by Kris from D-Ko on live drums.

Simulcast – Has been pushing pixels across Australia for acts such as Kid Kay Ferris and Team Plastique.

Enchanted Forest – His visuals have blown minds at events like the Woodford Festival, Crossroads and the Gooble parties.
