In news that will sadden their legion of fans, Kid Kay Ferris are set to continue the fine tradition of Brisbane artists leaving our fair city for greener pastures.
After four years of killer live shows both in Brisbane and interstate, two albums, a 12” release on Hussle n Bussle, inclusion on a Ministry of Sound ‘Clubbers Guide…’ compilation and other countless achievements, Danny and Joel are packing their bags to try their hand at greater success in Sydney.
Before their imminent departure, they’ll be throwing one final party for the Brisbane KKF massive, and are inviting along some of their fellow artists that have grown in popularity alongside them to perform as well.
The “Leaving Brizvegas” extravaganza is set to take place on Saturday 12th March, upstairs at the Shamrock Hotel in Fortitude Valley. Playing alongside Kid Kay Ferris will be DJ’s Operon and Aniki, and live acts Statler & Waldorf, Monster Zoku Onsomb and Toxic Lipstick.
If you’ve seen a Kid Kay Ferris performance over the past few years, you’ll know that it would be stupid to miss their final Brisbane show for quite some time. Come along and say goodbye to the boys and farewell them in style.
