SA Winner of the Heineken Found @ Thirst DJ competition, Ben Watt, has been added to the stellar local support for the much anticipated Adelaide return of the UK’s James Holden.
Watt’s joins Fabric Promotions’ Big Day Out representative, Lachy Pender, and Steve Culgan as support for Holden who will be showcasing the sounds of his Border Community label.
Defying typical genre classifications, his sound runs the gamut from pixie-trance to leftfield dance music, new wave house to melodic techno that has seen him described by Sasha no less as “the man.”
Playing an exclusive 4hr set in Adelaide, this will be a not to be missed event as Holden returns to the old Minke building (now known as Electric Circus) where he last appeared in 2003 on a night regarded by many as one of the best in this city’s electronic music history.
Thurs Feb 10 – Electric Circus
2200-2300 Ben Watt
2300-0000 Lachy Pender
0000-0400 James Holden
0400-0500 Steve Culgan
