My Ninja Lover, a Brisbane based live act who feature ex-members of groups Zephyr Timbre and Bumperscuffs, have been announced as the grand prize winner in the Nokia Terminal 9 Connecting Beats competition.
The competition gave budding producers and bands the chance to submit unsigned music from across the genres of hip-hop, breaks and drum & bass. Successful submissions were then selected by a panel of industry experts and voted on by the public.
For winning the competition My Ninja Lover will have their debut EP mastered, and have also scored a trip to the UK to meet with top independent labels Fat!, Cat Skills and Finkerlickin’ as well as an appearance at Chew the Fat! at The End on Friday February 18th.
ITM would like to congratulate My Ninja Lover and wish them success with their trip to the UK!
