In just over two years, Brisbane’s DROP crew have provided Brisbane with nothing but the finest quality nights of progressive house, techno and tribal – and quite often  far more than that too! And while DROP has ventured to several venues around the Valley in that time, there is only one place that it can truly call home – downstairs at the Elephant and Wheelbarrow. It’s here that the first DROP was launched, where Cairns boy Dan Marshall played two legendary DROP gigs, and where guests such as Gab Olivier wowed some very happy audiences.

It is with much sadness then, that DROP have announced that this weekend’s Drop will be the last ever at the E&W. Very soon, the downstairs area will be closed for renovations, and there’s no guarantee that DROP – or any of the other crews that have called that place home – will put on an event on down there ever again.

Teaming up with the like-minded souls from Monsters Of Pop, the final MONSTER DROP will kick off at 9pm this Saturday, 26th February. Set times as follows:

Allan Ho – 9:00 till 10:10
Brad Cahill – 10:10 till 11:30
Fuzion – 11:30 till 12:20
Scott Walker – 12:20 till 1:10
Damian Wheeler – 1:10 till 2:00
Dan Marshall – 2:00 till close (hopefully 3.30)
