Heineken Thirst DJ Comp state winning finalists announced!

The votes have been tallied and the winners notified, with the five state finalists now busy preparing themselves for the national showdown at the Heineken Thirst main event this Sunday April 24th.

The final will be judged by a voting panel that includes Erick Morillo, one of house music’s most successful identities. The DJ comp will see each finalist play a 15 minute set comprising of 5 tracks.

The contestants will be judged on technical ability, crowd appreciation, marketability, x-factor (not Channel Ten style!), track selection and creativity, collaborative work and artistic merit.

Finalists are:

Mo Funk – NSW
Anyo – VIC
DJ Habebe – QLD
Jimmy B – WA
Bill Fragos – SA
