Entries for the 2005 Nokia Connecting Beats competition have now closed, with organisers overwhelmed at the quality and quantity of submissions entered by budding producers across the country.
Entries came from across the board of dance and electronic music styles, with a staggering 400% increase in the number of individual tracks submitted compared to the 2004 compeition!
All tracks are now being judged by an industry panel consisting of record labels, distributors, DJs, promoters, managers and media. Partner labels in the competition include Compost, Fingerlickin, Full Cycle, Hospital, International DeeJay Gigolo, Ninja Tune, Obese, Sonar Kollektiv, Southern Fried and many more.
12 finalists will be selected from the entries submitted, which will all feature on the Connecting Beats CD. Stay tuned to ITM for further updates.
