The Amnesty Freedom Festival will tour Australia once again in 2005, visiting capital cities across the country throughout September and October. The subject of awareness for this year’s festival is abuse against women, specifically women’s rights to freedom from violence, fear, discrimination and torture, as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The 2005 tour will be the Freedom Festival’s biggest yet, with the show travelling to Hobart and Brisbane for the very first time, with the tour to be headlined by Ursula Rucker of !K7 Records and Ben Mono of Compost Records.
