Fatboy Slim reported to play Bondi Beach on New Years Eve

Reports have surfaced in newspapers regarding a submission put forward to Waverly Council to hold a massive New Years Eve event on Bondi Beach, with Fatboy Slim seemingly set to headline.

Bondi Beach’s reputation as a prime location for New Years Eve dance events is widely known, with Mobile Home hosting DJs like Sasha, Carl Cox and Pete Tong when they held massive parties on the world famous beach around the turn of the millennium.

Following resistance from residents in the area, the size and scale of the events at Bondi Pavilion in recent times have been greatly reduced. The Daily Telegraph reports that the event is proposed to be for 15,000 people and would close at 3am.
