Superpitcher Australian tour dates announced

It has just been announced that Superpitcher (Germany/Kompact) will be playing two dates in Australia in early September.  Superpitcher is Aksel Schaufler, a German producer with close ties to Cologne’s Kompakt label.

Dubbed the champion of ‘Heroin House’, Superpitcher is best known for his string of rich, warm, emotive and often melancholic remixes and solo production. His sound has been described as the ‘perfect blend of techno and pop’ and touches everything from bottom heavy beats to schaffel-house, Moroder-esque basslines through to soaring strings – everything from minimal to pop. As well as regular appearances on Cologne’s super-label Kompakt, Superpitcher has seen releases on Playhouse, Mute, Bpitch Control, International Deejay Gigolo, Ladomat 2000, Studio iK7 and Eskimo Recordings to name a few.
