They both have fans stretched across the world thanks to their top class production and DJing work, they’re both duos, and they’re both touring Australia in the next month. Who are we talking about? UK progressive breaks act Hybrid and American progressive trance duo Gabriel & Dresden, and they’ll be appearing live and ‘in the spotlight’ over the coming weeks! So, if you’re a fan be sure to mark the dates and times in your diary so you can login and ask your questions live and direct! Gabriel & Dresden have over a dozen #1 Billboard Dance hits to their credit, and as Motorcyle (with vocalist Jes) were responsible for the uplifting trance monster ‘As The Rush Comes’, which even scored them a #11 position on the UK music charts. In addition, they won the Best Breakthrough DJ accolade at the 2004 Dancestar Awards, and also two International Dance Music Awards the same year for Best Producer and Best Single. To date they’ve produced over 40 remixes and 10 original tracks, and recently begun work on their debut album! Mike Truman and Chris Healings are the duo behind UK progressive breaks sensation Hybrid. With a number of seminal artist albums to their credit, including ‘Wide Angle’ and ‘Morning Sci-Fi’, the duo are also renowned the world over for their remix work, having put the Hybrid touch to tracks from Radiohead, Alanis Morissette, Future Sound Of London and Moby. A long time favourite of Austrlian audiences, the duo will be returning to Australia to tour throughout September and October, playing selected Godskitchen and Parklife dates, plus their own solo shows.Stay tuned to ITM for updates.
