Honkytonks has announced another lot of internationals that will grace the baby grand for the coming weeks.
A-Skillz will be playing at Pick up the Pieces alongside resident Nick Thayer on Wednesday 28th September. Mr Skillz is perhaps best known as the funky technician alongside Krafty Kuts for the massive summertime funk of Tricka Technology.
Ben Mono is all set to play at Open Sesame on Thursday 6th October. Ben Mono aka Paul Beller is from Munich, Germany. A self-taught drummer, keyboard and bass player Ben Mono started going out to Into Somethin’ club
nights at the age of 16 and his friends were involved in the early Compost releases and he now too is releasing on labels such as Compost and Spinning Wheel.
Friday 14th October is the first time that Melbourne gets to witness the dirtiest mo’fo in Detroit – Disco D on the decks.
