The Uhuru War-I tour looks set to be one of the biggest traveling hip-hop events of 2005, with the likes of Naughty by Nature, Dead Prez, King Kapisi, Phrase, The Apostles and P.O.W. playing shows across the country in late October and early November.
Naughty by Nature, arguably one of hip-hop’s most successful groups with 3 platinum albums and a number of gold and platinum singles to their credit, will headline the event, with Brooklyn’s revered militant-socialist duo Dead Prez also appearing at all shows. They’ll be supported by New Zealand’s King Kapisi, Australian MC Phrase, and US crews The Apostles and P.O.W.
