It has recently been announced that Detroit DJ/Producer Matthew Dear will be touring Australia in a few weeks time to promote his Suckfish EP from his Audion moniker.

Displaying a capacity for styles ranging from rhythmic pop to gritty tech-house, Matthew Dear has quickly become one of America’s most revered electronic producers.

He has more recently adopted the Audion alias, which explores a markedly harder edge of his sound, suffused with massive beats and sawtooth synth oscillations. Having closed out 2004 as XLR8R magazine’s “Artist of the Year” in addition to appearances at Mutek, Coachella, and Fabric (London) Dear now turns to Audion for 2005’s Suckfish LP and further touring around the world.

Dates:
Friday 21st October @ Glitch in Sydney supported by Matt Aubusson and Dave Choe.
Saturday 22nd October @ Honkytonks in Melbourne, supported JP Larue, Mike Callander and Aram Chapers.
