Adelaide’s in for a hit of Heavy Science this weekend, as a crew of talented hip hop and electronica artists bomb the Crown & Sceptre and Fowlers Live on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The tour sees the launch of the Heavy Science compilation CD, featuring artists from the tour and many of the local support acts from each state.

Leading the tour is MC Liones, along with the other four members of the Heavy Science crew: DJ Bacon, Julez, Simulcast & Briztronix. You can expect significant tour support spots from locals too, with The New Pollutants doing their thing at the Crown & Sceptre on Saturday, and the Style High Club warming the crowd at Fowler’s.

More than that, at the Fowler’s Live gig there’s an MC Battle with a $500 cash prize, vinyl, b-boy demos and some plush visuals. Featured artists will have albums for sale, and it should be quite a funkin’ party both nights.
