Some of the world’s festival favourites will be heading to this year’s Falls Festival with another huge and eclectic line-up just announced.

Local funsters, The Cat Empire make a welcome return after spending many months overseas this year, along with the hip-hop crew, Ugly Duckling and local live beat crossover band, Offcuts. There’s been loads of whispers from people in the know about the greatness of Rolling Blackouts who recently took out best rock band at the LA Weekly Music Awards; they will be heading to Australia for the first time. Locals Little Birdy are looking forward to appearing at Falls for the first time as well as Youth Group, Ash Grunwald, Dappled Cities Fly, blues and rootsman and woman, Rob Sawyer and Mia Dyson.

Acts announced so far for this year’s Falls Festival include: The Dandy Warhols, The Shins, Hoodoo Gurus, The Cat Empire, The Zutons, Wolfmother, Ozomatli, Ugly Duckling, Pete Murray, Eric Bibb, Sarah Blasko, Rolling Blackouts, The Beautiful Girls, Kelley Stoltz, End of Fashion, Little Birdy, The White Buffalo, The Mess Hall, Ash Grunwald, Evermore, Mia Dyson, Dallas Crane, Katalyst & RuCL, Offcutts, The Grates, The Vasco Era, Lior, Matt Walker and Ashley Davies, 67 Special, TZU, Dappled Cities Fly, Youth Group, Dan Sultan and Scott Wilson, Faker, Rob Sawyer & True Live.
