UK based producer extraordinaire Talvin Singh has recently announced plans for two Adelaide shows early on in the New Year. In conjunction with the 2006 Adelaide Festival of Arts, Singh will be bringing his global flavoured beats and rhythms to both Womadelaide (March 10th-12th) and the Thebarton Theatre (March 17th).

Fusing the beautiful intricacies of Indian classical with the relentless force that is dance music, the award winning Singh will always be a prominent icon of the world/dance crossover style. Performing live with his own incredible tabla drumming and some extra-special visuals from Japanese VJ “Soi”, these gigs are set to be an impressive affair, and a great diversion from the staple DJ & MC sets most producers present.
