Chinese Laundry is set to undergo a change to their regular Friday night activities, with a brand new weekly event launching in January. Dedicated to breakbeat, the night looks set to become Sydney’s only dedicated weekly breaks night following the closure of Hijack at Yu in September. Called Break Inn, residents at the club include Bass Kleph, The Impossibles, Dopamine and the Sound Advice DJs. Breakbeat in all its forms will be the focus of the night, from party tunes through to tech and progressive styles. The second room of Chinese Laundry will host a rotating roster of musical styles, including drum & bass and party hip-hop. Guests lined up for the first few months of the new club include Paul Arnold of Chew the Fat, Splitloop, Nick Thayer and Nubreed.
