Undoubtedly one of the most uniquely creative DJs and producers in the modern electronic music scene, James Holden will be returning to Australia in April for date along the east coast. Although initially boxed in the ‘progressive trance’ genre, Holden’s style has branched out dramatically over the years, now covering a broad spectrum of sounds, including tech, electro, house, breaks and more.
Holden is currently one of the biggest names on the underground European techno scene, thanks in part to his pioneering work on his own label Border Community, releasing solo productions like ‘A Break In The Clouds’ and also helping to launch the career of artists such as Nathan Fake (producer of club hit ‘Outhouse’).
James Holden tour dates:
Fri Apr 14 Atlantic South Wharf, Melbourne
Fri Apr 14 Venue TBC, Brisbane
Sat Apr 15 Home, Sydney
The dates were revealed on Holden’s website (http://www.jamesholden.org/), stay tuned for full confirmed details over the coming months.
