Darshan Jesrani, who is one half of house music duo out of New York City Metro Area returns to Australia at the end of February, taking on four shows in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
The Metro Area duo comprising of Darshan Jesrani and Morgan Geist have been responsible for audibly marking the dance music landscape with their own distinct style which embraces the breadth of their combined musical influences. Reaping superlative praise from DJs, listeners, dancers, critics and industry-folk, the first 4 Metro Area EPs have achieved cult/collector status.
Currently, Darshan is busy with a hectic, international touring and DJ schedule, relocation to Brooklyn, NY and the creation of a new studio and workspace, a remix for Environ’s UnClassics 12” series, new Metro Area material with Morgan for fall 2003 release, the production of a song written with Lisa Shaw and Alexi Delano and a monthly residency with Morgan at New York’s famed music spot APT.
