After launching to much fanfare in late 2005, it has been announced that the Sounds Group/Jam Music joint venture The Garden will now move from running as a weekly event to focus on public holiday and special occasion parties.

It was a big few months for The Garden, which took place every Sunday throughout summer, hosting a long list of Sydney’s finest DJs along with regular interstate and international guests, including Desyn Masiello, Mark Knight, Nic Faniculli and more.

Following the success of The Garden’s massive Boxing Day special event, which saw all three levels of Chinese Laundry and Slip Inn at capacity, all future special events will follow a similar model, featuring headliners from Sounds and Jam events.

The first special event for The Garden will be on the Easter Long Weekend, Sunday April 16th, and as it follows the Sounds and Sweetchilli ‘Livewire’ party the night before, one can only imagine who will be on the lineup!
