With a loyal following and an even bigger reputation, Monkey Tennis is set to return to shake the very foundations of Candy’s Apartment this weekend, as they present two of the biggest names on the deep house scene at the moment! Come on down to Monkey Tennis this Saturday March 11 to see British pioneers the Inland Knights battle it out with fellow Brit Da Sunlounge.
The Inland Knights have had the scene under their thumb with their vast list of releases on Ralph Lawson’s famed 20:20 Vision imprint, Panhandle Records, Vista, Siesta, Sunflower, NRK, Low Pressings, Double Down and many more. Their tracks have been licensed to the ‘Global Underground’ series and Miguel Migs’ ‘Nite Life’ mixes and they are noted proponents of the UK’s free party scene in the early 90s. Da Sunlounge (aka Simon Newbie) has been at the DJing game, producing deep house, for over 7 years. Clocking up a drool-worthy amount of releases on some of the industry’s most recognisable international labels.
Support on the night comes from local players, John Devecchis, Synik, Lummy and Broadband, Danny Bass, Steve Corfield, Darren Stewart and Pete Dot. Check out ITM Whatson for more info.
