Hi Fi Mike’s stunning production work is something to behold. Described as a fusion of electronically triggered noises and samples laid over the multi-instrumentalist skills of Mike, his super tight live band consists of Robert Scott (Dodgy Sounds), Bill Risby (one of Australia’s best jazz pianists) and guest vocalists Inga Liljestrom (Elk), Iota, Betty Emanouel and The Church’s Steve Kilbey.

Thursday April 6 is the debut performance for the Hi Fi ones as they take over The Vanguard and make it an experience to remember, celebrating the release of Mike’s recent debut ‘Swim: In The Deep’, which has already sparked a healthy dose of radio interest around the country and had comparisons drawn to Portishead, the Sneaker Pimps and Massive Attack.
