No, this isn’t a misprint, this amazing fusion of musical visionaries is really happening! To which exotic foreign land do you have to travel to see? Well here’s where the story gets a whole lot juicier, it’s set to happen right here at two very special shows in Sydney and Melbourne!
Blockhead, who is best known for his critically acclaimed Ninja Tune releases ‘Music By Cavelight’ and ‘Downtown Science’, as well as production work on Aesop Rock’s ‘Labor Days’ and the Definitive Jux label, is ready to take unsuspecting Australian crowds by storm with his technical know-how and skills to pay the bills.
Prefuse 73 (aka Scott Herren) has been busily taking our breath away with his beat chopping and hip-hop rearranging masterpieces for years, and anybody that’s been lucky enough to catch Herren on one of his last visits knows just how special each and every Prefuse live experience can be.
The two join forces with Black Grass of the Catskills label for a soulful explosion to take over The Prince of Wales in Melbourne, on Friday April 14 and The Gaelic Club in Sydney on Sunday April 16 (BUY TICKETS).
