If you were planning on fronting up to The Gov for a face full of Chuck D, Flava Flav and Terminator X, I’m afraid you’d better sit down. The old guard of hip hop protagonists have cancelled the Adelaide show without public explanation, with no immediate sign of a reschedule. Their appearance at WA’s West Coast Blues & Roots Festival suffered a similar fate. The Adelaide gig’s venue was changed recently from the larger capacity Thebarton Theatre to the popular Port Rd hotel, and fans scratching dates off their calendars were dead keen to see the lads live and intimate on the back of their 2005 album, ‘New Whirl Odor’. Believe the hype, people- we’ve been duped again. Maybe they’ll come back and bring Kurtis Blow and Slick Rick along for the funk of it? Rumour has it that Grand Master Flash will be returning later this year though, so let hope that breaks the trend of Allstar stand-ups!

Nobody has hearted this, be the first Be the first!
