System with Southern Outpost's The Sentinel

System, supporters of underground electro in Melbourne have today announced that on Saturday 27th May they have invited Southern Outpost’s The Sentinel to play a 2-hour set, along with System residents Portal, Hysteric and Phlex.

Sydney’s The Sentinel (aka Patrick Wacher) began djing and producing radio shows in the early 90s, constantly pushing Electro and Detroit Techno to the masses. He has also Dj’d with the likes of Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, Derrick May, Claude Young, and Mike Grant. As if that wasn’t enough, in 1998 he founded a 100% independent record label, with Philip Chan & Daniel Horth, the “Southern Outpost”, already moving into their 12th and 13th releases…  

SO has released singles from Electro notables such as DJ K-1 (Keith Tucker), Shadow People (Dj Nasty), and French post-Drexciyan pioneer Dynarec. S/O release 2.5 included phenomenal remixing from a recent Australian visitor, DJ Godfather.
