Winter Enchanted storms Adelaide, July 1

Everyone in Adelaide’s dance music community should be more than familiar with the rave-beast engine that is Enchanted. With two massive nights every year (and several smaller parties), the Winter Enchanted event is set to go off on July 1st, and offers some hot dancefloor headliners from around the world… particularly for lovers of hard styles and D’n’B.

For Hard Dance fiends, the list is topped by the UK’s Paul Glazby (of Vicious Circle label fame). Uraken is set to represent the land of the rising sun on a hardcore tip, while Carbon based Live will be showcasing their current sounds from their homecountry, Finland. Theirs is a show to be witness with a hardware/software spin on Hard NRG, Hard Trance, Freeform and Nu NRG. Is it any surprise that local Aussie Bexta has put her hand up to play at this one? Whew!

For drum ‘n’ bass heads, Norway’s legendary Teebee takes pole position, along with Dutch darkstep and neurofunk masters, Black Sun Empire. Shock One will be bringing their exciting, often video-game reminiscent d’n’b tuneage to our shores, along with your favourite locals and a whole lot more.

Chris Liberator and Mike Humphries will be flying in with their banging and often funky party techno, while other impressive acts locked in to spin include Germany’s Stoneface & Terminal, Alex Kidd (Hard Dance), E-NRG (DJ set) and Vic & Motion. With more to be announced and the secret venue yet to be revealed, all we can say is that it’s an over-ages only show, on half a city block that is set to go BOOM!
